How Do You Celebrate?
2. Do you like to celebrate it or do you prefer to keep it quiet? I love to celebrate it! It's the one day of the year where I can say "I'm allowed to do whatever I want to do today...no guilt involved." So go shopping just for me maybe or hang out with family and/or friends. Going out to dinner would be nice...having drinks.
3. Have you ever had a surprise party? When I was a kid I did...can't remember how old I was at the time...but loved it!!
4. What sign are you? Does it represent you well? I'm a Virgo....and it totally represents me! Though that's not always a good thing. Critical, nagging...not a lot of good adjectives there.LOL
5. Do you tell the truth about your age? Yes I figure that most people aren't stupid & can tell I'm lying when I say I'm 25.;) I'm 44.
6. Share your best birthday memory. I have had a lot of great birthday memories. My mom used to do a party for me every year when I was a kid. The house would be spotless, there would be balloons, she would have a glass bowl of peanuts on the dining room table, colorful plates & cups out, this awesome punch that she used to make would be there too, presents on the table...God I miss those days & the happiness that I felt at that time in my life.
7. Share a few item that could be on your birthday wishlist. In no particular order....a trip to Ireland, a trip to somewhere with a white beach & an amazing view of the ocean, another tattoo, a mother's ring, more books...can never have too many! ;)
8. What is your favorite kind of cake? My grandma used to make me a pistachio cake...green cake, green frosting...those were the days.
9. If you could be anywhere on your next birthday, where would you be? On a beach or a cruise somewhere with my boyfriend...no kids...just him & I.
10. Do you make a wish when you blow out the candles? Of course.
