School Days
1. What was your favorite subject in school? I don't know if I ever had a favorite subject!LOL Guess I would have to say Colorado History or Mythology...yep they had that class in Grand Junction when I moved over there right before my Junior year. Very cool.
2. Did you attend elementary school and high school in the same town? I did for most of my younger years. I spent my Junior & Senior years elsewhere.
3. Are you still friends with anyone that you met during school? Yep....a few.
4. What activities were you involved in as a student? I was VERY shy back then & didn't join much at all....though I was briefly in Library Club & FBLA. Another thing that I would change about the past....I would've been more outgoing then.
5. Did you bring your lunch, or did you get it at school? I did both in elementary school. But in high school...mostly hot lunch.
6. Did you enjoy shopping for clothing and school supplies? Absolutely HATED it. I was always a chubby kid. Nothing ever fit right. None of the cool looking clothes that all of my friends (and everyone else) was wearing didn't fit me or didn't look good on me. I would get soooo depressed. I still do when I try on clothes & they don't fit.:( Takes me back to the whole kid thing.
7. Name a song or a band that reminds you of high school. "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger!! I remember it playing on MTV all the time....that & "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. That was back when MTV actually played music videos all day long.
8. Did you like school? I would have to say no. I liked elementary school OK...but the rest...not so much.
9. How long have you been out of school? I graduated in 1987.
10. What did you like most about school? What did you dislike most about school? I liked being able to see my friends. What did I dislike??? Being teased & made fun of on a constant basis because I was "chubby." I look at pictures of myself back then & wonder what the hell were they talking about?? I wasn't that big, but they made me believe I was.
